The Huichol people are Native Mexicans living in the Sierra Madre Occidental range in the Mexican States of Nayarit, Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Durango.

This beaded art is constructed using plastic beads pressed into a wooden form covered in beeswax. The beadwork commonly depicts the prominent patterns and symbols featured in Huichol culture.
